Speaking of VV.

He buys some of the best, nicest guns I have ever seen. If It were me and I bought those guns, I'd be afraid to go shoot them for the price tag involved.
I don't remember the brand name of the 1911 he bought before the DW but he had a long wait on it and it was a true custom pistol. He has some pictures posted of it here somewhere.

I just could not bring myself to shoot such hi priced guns, I wouldn't want to hurt/damage poor things. Scratches and the like devalue pistols and his are valuable.

Hay VV. What is the least expensive firearm you own. And the most expensive?

I'm happy for him. I would shoot the heck out of them. One of these days I'll do the same.

I only have two that I will not shoot, a gold plated Colt 1911 and the commerative model that my friend had and instructed his wife to give me after he was gone. Anything else is fair game. I do not buy guns to put in the safe and look at anymore. if it won't shoot, it does not belong at my place!!!!!!!

+1 I would have to put some through the gold plated one. If the hammer can drop, I'm shooting it.

Thats the way I am any more. If I'm not gona shoot it. It's not gona be there.
I don't own pistols in calibers I can not regularly afford to shoot.

My most regular shoot is 9mm.
When I go to the range I do point shoot with my pocket pistol, Your probably not going to have time to aim if you have to draw, so I have started skipping that part and I go from the safe ready stance to fire (the range does not allow drawing from a holster), I always put a new target up just for this so I can see exactly where the rounds are going. I am Always in the center mass. But for now the grouping needs work. It's not bad, just not small groups like I like.

Freedom, point shooting is the thing! If you can hit ceneter mass with your pocket carry. you are doing it right! True statement, probably not going to have time to aim! That's exactly why the pont shoot is the most important drill to practice. Keep up the good work and if the groups are center mass, don't worry too much as you are doing good!

Civil war vet LMAOPMP
I shoot at a freinds club sometimes which is a bullseye club. I think it's dumb to stand there one handed and shoot. It's a fixed 25 yds. It does not make sense to me. At my range I only shoot point and shoot. If I'm going to take ou a target at 75 feet, I'm using a shotgun. here's point and shoot at 20 feet.
