MUST Read about McDonalds

THIS IS A GOOD DECENT MAN WHO TOOK THE TIME TO WRITE THIS AND: HE SIGNED THE
STATEMENT AND: INCLUDED HIS CONTACT INFO:

READ ON

I'm sure those of you who aren't in the cattle business don't understand the
issues here. But to those of us
whose living depends on the cattle market, selling cattle, raising the best
beef possible... This is frustrating.
This will keep us from ever stopping there again, even for a drink.
The original message is from the Texas Cattle Feeders Association
American cattle producers are very passionate about this.

McDonald's claims that there is not enough beef in the USA to support their
restaurants. Well, we know that is not so. Our opinion is they are looking
to save money at our expense. The sad thing of it is that the people of the
USA are the ones who made McDonald's successful in the first place, but we
are not good enough to provide beef.

We personally are no longer eating at McDonald's, which I am sure does not
make an impact, but if we pass this around maybe there will be an impact
felt.

All Americans that sell cows at a livestock auction barn had to sign a paper
stating that we do NOT EVER feed our cows any part of another cow. South
Americans are not required to do this as of yet.

McDonald's has announced that they are going to start importing much of
their beef from South America ... The problem is that South Americans aren't
under the same regulations as American beef producers, and the regulations
they have are loosely controlled.

They can spray numerous pesticides on their pastures that have been banned
here at home because of residues found in the beef. They can also use
various hormones and growth regulators that we can't. The American public
needs to be aware of this problem and that they may be putting themselves at
risk from now on by eating at good old McDonald's..

American ranchers raise the highest quality beef in the world and this is
what Americans deserve to eat. Not beef from countries where quality is
loosely controlled. Therefore, I am proposing a boycott of
McDonald's until they see the light.

I'm sorry but everything is not always about the bottom line, and when it
comes to jeopardizing my family's health, that is where I draw the line.

I am sending this note to about thirty people. If each of you send it to at
least ten more (30 x 10 = 300) ...
and those 300 send it to at l east ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000) ... and so
on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will
have reached over THREE MILLION consumers!

I'll bet you didn't think you and I had that much potential, did you? Acting
together we can make a

difference. If this makes sense to you, please pass this message on..

I posted this from an email.
I have no way of knowing if this is true, bu it does make one stop and think.
Question is. WHAT fast food restaurant like MCD buys ONLY US beef?

Hey Guys!! This is from one of them Aggies I been telling you about! A&M, even after all the jokes about the Aggies, has one of the foremost vet med schools anywhere. My vet, both my son-in-law's vets and most of my neighbors' vets are A&M grads! They are damn good people and know what they are doing. Most of them, especially the ones in TX, are hard working adn honest people and this post is just an example of what is going on everyday in corporate America. I and my family stopped eating at Mickey D's a long time ago just for such as this!

AO is right in what he is saying about the loosely controlled world, when it comes to food. There is also problems with other foreign produced goods. Lead paint in childrens toys, and it's more than likely in products for older people but so what we dont deserve to live any longer than we already have. There's also child labor, and forced women labor at very long hours and low pay. All the things our companies want to do here but there is laws against it. What we need is to put jobs on this soil. Screw the major companies. smaller mom and pa shots should sprout up to supply the people in their regions and hopefully expand as business gets going. This is what is needed. Thats the problem with bailing out these big banks. They should have been allowed to fail, new smaller banks would have cropped up incourageing the grow of our economy. When a company that gets too big for it's britches they should fail. As they only care about their operating officers and screw the employees and public.

Well, it's the truth. The good ol richboy club is not good for the little guy. As long as big business has their lobbyist in DC, nothing will change.Mostly all of the politicians are a bunch of money and power hungry whore's. What's wrong with shareing the wealth? Do you really need billions of dollars in your accounts? The more money the little people have the more they spend, hence the economy grows. If I'm wrong please correct me. I'm a big boy I can take it. what I cant take is having my rights stepped on and robbed of my retirement, and decent healthcare that I work and pay dearly for.

Ok, tomorrow. I'm tired now, I've been working on my combat commander this evening. Been giving me fits. I bought a new slide and firing pin spring, so I figured I'd give it a good cleaning and I couldn't get the darn safety to come out. I had to take it out to the garage and put it in a vise to smack it out. Never had it apart before,I bought it from a friend about fifteen years ago, and just started shooting it this winter. The beavertail he put on never worked. I could always trip the hammer without holding in the beavertail. It still doesn't work. Anyway it sure was dirty. It went together ok though. It's a little perplexing. scratch

Well I should go out and put my M1 Carbine in the vise and get the barrel apart from the receiver. This one and one more will make two! I got a receiver that is a little sloppy and I got another one last week. Been waiting on the barrel block and wrench to clamp down on it and get the barrel loose. It came in today and I should get out there and get it going. That's for next week. I got to get it next week because I am picking up my M1 Garand on the 31st and I have to take time to go shoot it. She doesn't know yet cause I was afraid to tell her I got it for her on her 41st anniversary! I can get away with a lot but I think that is a bit overboard. I got tne days or so to come up witih something tween now and then so I got it made. Anyway, I think Pelosi and Feinstien have sharing the same bong!!!!!!!!!!! They are both acting kind of crazy!!!
