PostSubject: Crimson Trace customer service.   Tue Jun 15, 2010 3:03 pm

I want to share a quick little story about a truly wonderful company--Crimson Trace.

About two weeks ago I was at the range with my Kimber Pro Crimson Carry and I began to notice that after each round was fired the laser was becoming dimmer & dimmer until eventually it was gone. The target was at 10 yards. So I unloaded the gun and began cleaning the lens of the laser because when I aimed it at the shelf in front of me it showed up fine. I thought that maybe, over time the expended gasses may have fouled the lense. I was wrong however because when I aimed it back at the target, after cleaning, I saw nothing.
So I packed up my "stuff" and headed out to the shop. After talking with the guys we decided to send it back to Crimson Trace to be repaired/replaced. The consensus of the guys in the shop was that I leaked some Hoppe's or a lube down into the laser while cleaning it. They weren't optimistic about C.T.'s response.

Well today the shop called me and said C.T. had sent me an entirely new set of grips. How much more could you ask of a company. They sell a quality product and they back it 100%.

I did learn something else though and that is from now on when I clean it I'll remove the grips first to avoid future problems.

Cool. Always nice to hear a report on a product where the company actually cares about the customer.
So many companies get that first sale and forget about the customer. Which I have never understood. They just got a sale and a potential repeat customer and referrals.
Take care of the customers needs and you will keep them for life.
It is good to know that CT is one of those companies.
