I do a lot of transfers for many of the law enforcement officers as I spent 20 years with 2 different SO's before getting a law license. I do keep a few of the plastic guns around and always have a revolver or two. I have sold most of my inventory within the last two weeks and have not spent much time stocking due to the TX CHL Instructor Course with DPS in Austin this past week. I am going to the Market Hall gun show this coming weekend in Dallas and will have a few more in stock next week. I will post some pictures when I get them back to the shop!

A post isn't a post without pictures.
Or something like that.
Maybe it was a sandwich and miracle whip.

Well nothing turns out as it should or as intended! I meant to post some more pictures last night or the night before and there has been a new development around the Ponderosa! My black heifer had a baby bull! I got home around 3:00 pm Wed afternoon and saw mama standing by the tank licking on her new baby bull. Within two minutes, one of my mini-mules had smelled the blood and absolutely went crazy. He started attacking my newest addition and pushed the baby bull into the tank, was standing up pummeling the baby bull with the front hooves, pushed the baby bull into the water and then started trying to hold the baby bull under the water. This particular mini-mule has been with me for about three years but he no longer resides on property. He has a permanent plot in the lower NE corner of the place and will not be a problem again to anyone or anything on premises. Had to go into the tank waist deep in a suit and retrieve the little fellow and hold his head above water so he could breathe until I got him out of the mud and the mess! He has made it for two days now, is eating off his mother and beginning to walk and hobble around. Mom and baby have moved form the back portion of the place to the trees on the south side of the tank and move to stay in the shade during the day. They seem to be fine now and he is none the worse for wear. I will be at the gun show tomorrow, my mother-in-law's for dinner tomorrow night, a life-long friend's house Sunday for the 50th wedding anniversary for him and then maybe back to posting some pictures on Monday. I will get there and also might have some pictures from the gun show if there is anything interesting there! Have a great weekend and be back on Monday.

Sorry to hear about the problems but glad that the new born is doing well.
Well see your pictures when you get the time. Take care of the new member of your family there. Maybe put some pictures of the Baby Bull up too when you find time.

Henry and his mom, Blackie and dad, Norman. Had to sell Norman the following week as the neighbor moved 150 head in the next pasture over and Norman fell in love!!!!! It must have been true love as he abandoned Blackie and sonny boy. He was like a kid in a candy store. I saw him standing next to a four foot 5 strand barbed wire fence and without a run, flat footed, cleared it with plenty room to spare. He weighed 1550 pounds and until the herd moved in next door, he was like a kid. He would eat out of my hand, push on me to pay attention to him and scratch his ears. He was a big baby. Never showed any aggressive behavior at all even with the horns. Very gentle always. Unbelievable what true love and a whiff of the ladies will do to a man!!! LMAO!!!! Wasn't funny that night trying to keep him home!
