| On the first anniversary of the Firearms Forum Coalition, 2-5-2011. We will be awarding a Fourth Generation Glock 17 or 19. Spread the news. Get signed up as a member and post often and with good content. The Rules are as follows. 1.Forum Administration, Moderators and ***sight Supporters that sponsor the First Anniversary Award are not eligible for the prize. 2.Prize will be awarded to a Member in good standing (*not currently in time out). **Only active members may enter. 3. Ok, here is how we are going to do it, on the anniversary of the forum, we will post the beginning of the drawing, all members who wish to be in on the drawing for the prize should post your names in that thread, from that list, the forum members minus Mods, Admin and Sponsoring Sight Supporters will be drawn, half of the names (first elimination round) from the pot will go back in, and on to the second round, the process will be repeated until we are down to the last/winner. So for instance if there are 100 qualifying names in the thread when the drawing begins, 50 names will be drawn in the first round, 25 in the second round etc. If there is an odd number of people the number drawn will be rounded up 1. At the time the drawing gets down to 20 names, we will begin posting the finalists names so people can see who has made it in to the final runnings. The winner will be contacted by PM and e-mail prier to the results being posted in the forum. Good luck to everyone * Time out is punishment by temporary locking of privileges or access to the forum for violation of forum rules. ** Active members qualify by having a minimum of 180 posts by 2-5-2011. Preferably posts that are helpful/informative or beneficial to the forum. ***Sight supporters that help to sponsor the First Anniversary award are not eligible for entry in to the drawing. Long story short, qualifying members need to have a minimum of 180 posts, by 2-5-2011. The forum is set to change your member status from "Member" to "Anniversary Qualifier" on your 180th post. So look for it and if it does not change at 180, PM me or Freedom so we can manually update your status and then try to correct the update problem. But I think it is set correctly. Sight supporters that are not sponsoring the AP will qualify by post count. Because they already have a permanently assigned status as Sight Supporter/Moderator, I am not sure if the forum will add them to the AQ list automatically. Again, Members should see their member status roll over to AQ when they make their 180th post. Thank you. Photo of the Gen 4 Glock 17. We Marines need simple instructions--- Is it 15/mo & a total of 180 or... Is it just a total of 180?
I think the answer is 180 total but when you threw in that 15/mo statement that confused me. What I mean is that someone could achieve a total of 180 & not do 15/mo. _________________ Life member: DAV USMC NRA VVA MOPH COTEP #CBOB0391

| VV thanks for bringing that up. Back when I wrote that it was 15 a month which would have given the member 180 posts by 2-5-2011. But as time goes by the 15 a month average changes the total depending on when the person reads it. Which is probably what was confusing you. Right now 15 post a month to 2-5-11 would be somewhere in the ball park of 150ish which is in conflict with the 180.
I removed the 15 post a month from the rules so that the 180 post rule is left. And that is the important thing to qualify, 180 posts. I know for some 180 posts in one year can be done in their sleep. So I figured it was a small number that anyone who was really interested in having a chance at the prize would be able reach. _________________ The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. | I have a 19C & the muzzle flash is a bit distracting. I've been thinking I might buy a replacement barrel from Lone Wolf for $100, or just trading someone straight up. I received mine in Dec. '09, & it might have 7-800 target rounds thru it. I haven't made any firm decisions yet but I can't help but think about it. _________________ Life member: DAV USMC NRA VVA MOPH COTEP #CBOB0391

| Rented the C at the range a week or so back. Even with all the range lights on the flash was visible. A can only wonder what it would be like at night.
Smile for the camera FLASH. _________________ Remember to invite your friends to our forum. Help our new home grow. You know like Rose Red. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I did get the Lone Wolf replacement barrel last week & it really changes the feel of the gun for the better. The new barrel seems to fit more exactly when I installed it. _________________ Life member: DAV USMC NRA VVA MOPH COTEP #CBOB0391

| Sorry if we missed this VV.
Freedom noticed the incorrect address on another sigh and posted the correct one. We are still trying to figure out how to buy the Domain. The hosting sight uses PayPal and we do not. We may be stuck with this address unless the hosting company will accept payment another way. _________________ Remember to invite your friends to our forum. Help our new home grow.
